Flash Fiction: That’s Me in the Corner

A slightly more risque piece this week.

“I have to talk to you about something.”
She fidgets, hesitates. Takes a final deep breath like someone atop a high dive and plunges in.
It was an accident, she was using the phone, with my wife’s permission, and she opened the gallery and there they were.
Picture after picture of my wife in bed with another man. She pauses.
“Explicit pictures. Almost porn.”
She blushes.
I appreciate her telling me, I know it wasn’t easy, she’s more my wife’s friend than mine, but she told me.
I can ease her awkwardness, her bad feeling.
But it might make things more awkward. Raise more questions.
Some might be embarrassed with what they were about to say, but for me it just gives me an extra charge. A thrill. I feel arousal creeping in as I smile shyly.
“It’s okay. I know….I was the one taking the pictures.”

Any thoughts? You know what to do. BETEO.
